Due to Downtown Dental’s mix of know-how and technology, Dr. Lu is also equipped to:

• Perform complex surgeries, such as those to build up bone in the treatment site — Grafting may be needed to “prepare” your jaw by augmenting bony tissue to support the implant. If the implant does not have adequate support from the surrounding bone, it cannot stabilize the replacement teeth connected to it.
• Diverse restorative options – One implant may be used to replace a single tooth. Some implants may be used to replace many teeth, as an implant-retained bridge or partial. Strategically placed implants may also be used to replace all the teeth in the upper jaw or in the lower jaw. Due to how Dr. Lu positions the implants and where he places them, a minimal number of these artificial tooth roots are needed to secure a maximum number of overlying teeth in an implant-retained denture.

Many other general dentists only have the capabilities to restore the implants.
